Una vez más Mel Gibson lo ha hecho. Una película intensa, cruda, dura y verdadera. Es una historia real, cuyos principales personajes reales aparecen al final de la película.

Once again Mel Gibson has done it. An intense, raw, hard and true movie. It is a real story, whose real main characters appear at the end of the film.

Hemos salido del cine como mudos. Hemos quedado sin palabras.

Con una sensación semejante a cuando vi Braveheart, Apocalipto o La Pasión de Cristo. La de saber que las historias reales tienen más interés, más emoción y más trascendencia que las de ficción.

I feel the same feeling as when I saw Braveheart, Apocalypto or The Passion of Christ, that of knowing that real stories have more interest, more emotion and more transcendence than fiction.

En esta película tampoco tiene complejos ni miramientos con lo "políticamente correcto". El protagonista es cristiano y es objetor de conciencia. Por ello sufre burlas y abusos hasta que demuestra tener valentía y entrega heroicas.

In this film there are neither complexes nor specisl consideration for the "politically correct". The protagonist is a Christian and a conscientious objector. For that reason, he suffers mockery and abuse until he demonstrates heroic courage and dedication.
